Whether you're new to working in the round or looking to refine your technique, this workshop will give you the skills and tips to take your crochet projects to the next level.

Who’s it for?

This workshop is for confident beginners

In this hands-on workshop we will cover:

· Starting a circle

· Crocheting a flat circle

· Circles and spirals

· Crocheting tubes

The focus will be on practising the stitch techniques and understanding the maths to achieve a flat circle in different stitches. The initial projects that you can progress to from this workshop include a water bottle bag or market bag, which will be discussed in the workshop.

Prerequisites:

It will be assumed that you are able to crochet a swatch of fabric in basic stitches – double crochet and treble crochet (UK terms) / single crochet and double crochet (US terms)

What to bring:

· Yarn of your choice – we recommend bringing 8ply or 10ply yarn in a solid, light colour

· Crochet Hook suitable for use with your yarn

· Scissors

· Stitch markers

· 2.5mm or 3.0mm standard crochet hook (optional)

Yarn and hooks can be purchased on the day of the workshop.
